For some time now I've been seeing weird characters from non-English character sets (e.g. traditional Chinese) show up randomly in webpages I visit. For example,

fiancé

shows up as

fianc鮠

What's up with this? It's super annoying.

UPDATE: weird, at home both of those show up as two characters... fiancé and fianc�. I was grabbing that example from jwinokur's latest dland entry, which shows up fine in my home browser. WHAT THE HELL?
