I'm gonna get scuba certified. We're going to Thailand over the new year (and by publicly stating this I am committing to doing it, or at least having a good explanation for why we didn't) and I would like to spend January 1st, 2004 swimming with the fishies in Kho Tao. Maybe I'll also join that strapping young lad-- Leopold DiCaprio?-- on that idyllic beach he discovered. You remember? They showed it in that documentary a few years back. I fell asleep during the second half, but from what I could tell, they established a peaceful and prosperous commune that welcomes visitors with open arms. The life, I tell you!
