Been pulling gray hairs from above my temples. Went to the doctor and found out my cholesterol's dangerously high. Went to the dentist and found out my wisdom teeth have to go.

The other day I grabbed the mail, and as I was dumping the usual stack of grocery store flyers and coupon booklets into the trash, I was struck by the fact that elsewhere, coupons are a major part of life. My smugness lasted only a breath, then came thoughts of arteriosclerosis.
